The Hohner Piano Accordion features a two-octave 24-key treble keyboard alongside 36 bass/chord buttons, providing a comprehensive range for performance and practice.

Players can select from three distinct treble sounds: Clarinet (M), and two variants of animated Musette reed sets, enabling tonal versatility to suit various musical styles.

The left side of the instrument offers configurable options, including Bass/Major/Minor/7 or Counter Bass/Major/Minor arrangements, allowing customization based on playing preferences.

MIDI functionality permits control over treble sounds via external hardware or MIDI controller and playback applications, facilitating integration into diverse music setups.

The bass/chord transposition feature allows shifting the pitch up or down by two semitones using the control located at the bottom left of the interface. It is worth noting that transposing does not alter note labels, though this may be addressed in future updates. This feature effectively extends the bass range by transposing all bass notes together.

By pressing the "?" button, users can cycle through different note label display modes, including options with highlighted B notes and grey marker dots on low C and high A, tailored for Accordion Life lessons.

The "i" button accesses the settings menu, where users can independently adjust volume levels for treble, bass, and chords, as well as configure reverb styles and levels for each sound component.

Reverb parameters such as style, individual send levels, and overall effect level are adjustable to enhance sound realism.

The treble side's MIDI channel can be set via the dedicated slider, providing flexible integration with external MIDI systems.

The instrument's lowest playable note is C4 (MIDI Note 60), with a total range extending to B5.

Additional features include the touch-sensitive Hohner logo, which opens a help screen linking to Hohner's official accordion website, and the Accordion Life logo that initiates online lessons to support learning.

This application enables musicians to practice chord combinations, scales, and repertoire conveniently on their mobile device. Headphones can be used for private practice, or audio output can be routed through speakers or other sound enhancement devices for a broader listening experience.
